I performed this at a family reunion and it KILLED. the comedy the Kicker ending!! Because it was family I acted like I was choking on the piece of card and when we moved to the next PART of the effect I acted like I was mad and started to walk away. I used to use a hand made version of this from some old lecture notes i think it was from. When Alakazam announced they were releasing this on printed card stock it was a must buy. Great trick for any occasion, and works no matter your country or sweet of choice.

When I first bought this, I thought I could use the gimmick in a unique way to make my own torn-corner-to-impossible-location trick, as I thought the routine supplied was a bit cheesy, but after performing it for the first (and second) time, I am happily proved wrong! It is INCREDIBLE, the reactions were insane and beyond expectations. The whole plot of magician in trouble and then when they realise it’s in the sweet – the girl pulled it out with her teeth! Steve Rowe’s thinking is always about making the audience sees something inexplicable yet supremely entertaining. Bit of arts and crafts on this one, but everything is provided to make it super easy. Good video tutorial with Steve and Simon Lipkin going over the entire setup.

Possibly the best release ever from Alakazam. This is brilliant! Steve’s updated handling of Gaetan Bloom’s Intercessor principle is a game-changer. Now, all the work is done preshow, making this effectively a self-working effect. Plus, it’s great comedy, and because of the genius method, totally mind-blowing magically. I just performed it for the first time, and got 20 euro tip! The handling and the final reveal alone make this worth every penny, but of course, you get a really well-made gimmick as well, which will last for ever. My only criticism is it’s waaaay too cheap for what you get!
